The LOCTITE Corporation began operations in 1953 in a laboratory at Trinity College, directed by the chemist professor Dr. Vernon Krieble and his son Robert.

Its founders have a unique product: a liquid resin adhesive which harden in the absence of air, called anaerobic sealant. Then they discovered an adhesive that hardens with oxygen presence, the cyanoacrylate.

Currently, LOCTITE operates in more than 100 countries and is the world leader in Cyanoacrylate, Anaerobic, UV curing adhesives and a countless number of products for the whole industry, medicine, electronics, auto after sale and much more.

In 1997 LOCTITE was bought by HENKEL.

HENKEL LOCTITE are, today, world leaders in development and manufacture of adhesives, sealants and chemical products of high precision.
